A perfect beach day

A perfect day at the beach can be spoiled by leaving your favorite pair of flip flops when leaving for home. Don't for get to gather up your beloved flip flops on leaving the beach.

State Beach is easy. Easy to find. Easy to park. It’s easy to haul the cooler and the carload of beach chairs and windscreens and umbrellas and towels, and it’s easy (and required) to haul out the trash. There’s an easy, though sand-trapped, bike path for the hardy, and the easy-to-ride Vineyard Transit Authority bus. There’s no surf, so it’s easy to swim, and easy for you to let your toddler toddle right into the floppy water.

No quarter-million-dollar “key” is needed, but it would be worth it if it were. State Beach is the Greatest Show on Sand, an exploration of the human species and its love affair with salt water and sun. On an island stippled with “No Trespassing” signs and sheepish teens acting as beach bouncers for plutocrats, State Beach beams instead the signal: “You are welcome here.”

Summer Means It's Sandal and Flip-Flop Season

Images
Summer is here and you need to look for some new flip flops. Here are several to choose from. All types, colors and sizes.

It's summertime ladies, so take out your summer sandals/flip-flops and let your toes enjoy the freedom they have been waiting for all winter. For nine long dreary months your feet were held hostage in closed shoes or boots in order to survive the cold and wet weather. This probably caused the formation of painful corns, blisters, red irritated skin lesions on your feet and arch cramps. The reason those foot problems occurred is because of abnormal pronation and friction the foot experiences when sliding or moving around in a closed shoe.

See What Men Are Wearing for Cool Flip Flops

Mens_havaianas-flip-flops
Check what men call cool flip flops. There are many to choose from, all different colors and styles.

Havaianas has been making men’s flip flops since the ’60s. The flip flop design was inspired by japanese sandals (“zoris”), which had a soft-wood like bottom with fabric straps. Havaianas now makes all their sandals with a soft rubber bottom, which is more durable and super comfortable.

We love the flip flops and the company itself. They have tons of cool styles and colors to choose from, run cool contests where artists can submit their own design, and you even have the ability to make your own design!  Pretty sick, check out http://us.havaianas.com/MYOH.html choose your colors, your design, add some “flair” and you can have your own unique style.
